Hearthnest provides educational and organisational programmes for adults preparing for retirement. Our programmes consist of facilitated reading group discussions, personal administrative coaching sessions, and structured annual planning activities.
Important: Hearthnest programmes are educational and organisational in nature only. We do not provide financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, medical advice, or any other regulated professional advice. 7. Intellectual Property
All written summaries, templates, workbooks, and other materials prepared by Hearthnest and provided to participants are for the personal use of the individual participant only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared with third parties without our prior written consent.
Reading materials drawn from publicly available publications remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. Hearthnest provides these for the purposes of group discussion only.
8. Confidentiality
Hearthnest treats all personal information shared by participants in sessions as confidential. Facilitators and coaches will not share information disclosed in sessions with other participants. General themes raised in group discussions may be referenced in future sessions only in anonymised form, and only where this serves the educational purpose of the group.
9. Disclaimers
Our programmes are provided as educational and organisational tools. We make no representations about specific outcomes, results, or consequences that may follow from participation. Individual circumstances vary and we cannot represent that any particular outcome will occur from attending our programmes.
We are not financial planners, lawyers, therapists, or tax advisers. The information discussed in our programmes should not be treated as a substitute for independent professional advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Hearthnest's liability to any participant shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by that participant for the relevant Programme.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from participation in our programmes, including but not limited to decisions made on the basis of information discussed in sessions.

12. Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing programme arrangement (such as the monthly Reading Group) by giving fourteen (14) days' written notice. Hearthnest reserves the right to terminate without notice where a participant's conduct is in material breach of these terms.
On termination, any sessions already paid for and not yet delivered will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, except where termination is due to breach by the participant.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of written notice, it may be referred to mediation or, if mediation fails, to the courts of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur.
