Our Programmes

Three Ways to Prepare for the Years Ahead

Whether you prefer to read alongside others, work through your records one-on-one, or follow a structured year of preparation, there is a format here that may suit where you are right now.

How We Work

Each programme is built around the same idea: that retirement preparation is helped more by structured reflection than by generic advice. We bring materials, a facilitator, and a clear process. Participants bring their own situation.

Read

Every session and module draws on publicly available material — Malaysian government publications, internationally recognized books on life transitions, and household-finance guides. Nothing proprietary, nothing that requires specialist credentials to access.

Discuss and Organize

Reading becomes useful when it meets your specific household. We use structured conversation and coaching to help participants move from general material to their own records, priorities, and questions.

Leave with Something Written

Participants leave each session or block with written material — a reading summary, a set of templates, a list of questions to bring to a qualified professional. The work is not just conversational; it produces something you can refer back to.

Monthly Programme

Pre-Retirement Reading Group

A community reading group for adults in the five to ten years before they intend to step away from full-time work. Each monthly meeting focuses on one publicly available publication — a Malaysian government primer, an internationally recognized book on life transitions, or a chapter from a household-finance reader.

The meeting is a conversation rather than a lecture. The facilitator guides discussion but does not provide individual advice. Attendees leave with a written summary of the reading and a list of questions that may be useful to bring to a qualified professional independently.

  • Two-hour monthly session, group capped at ten participants
  • Written summary of the month's reading included
  • Curated list of questions to bring to a specialist
  • All reading material from publicly available sources
  • Suitable for those five to ten years from stepping back
RM 480 per month

Private Sessions

Household Records Coaching Block

A block of four one-on-one coaching sessions for individuals who want help organizing household records ahead of a retirement transition. The coach works with the participant through a sequence of tasks: building a master folder of documents, creating a brief household inventory, drafting a simple personal directory of contacts, and writing a short reflection on retirement priorities.

The coaching is administrative and organizational in nature. It does not include legal or financial advice. Sessions are typically ninety minutes each, spaced two weeks apart, giving participants time to gather materials between appointments.

  • Four sessions of ninety minutes each, spaced two weeks apart
  • Printed organizational templates provided at the first session
  • One-on-one format — full attention on your household situation
  • Follow-up note sent one month after the final session
  • Covers documents, inventory, contacts directory, and priorities

  • Four quarterly half-day workshops across the year
  • Monthly community discussion call — eleven calls in total
  • Personal planning workbook sent at the start of the programme
  • Malaysian EPF and KWSP material covered in dedicated modules
  • Twelve-month structure, one participant per enrolment

How We Maintain Quality

A few consistent principles run across all three programmes.

Participant Privacy

Personal and household information shared in sessions is handled in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. It is never shared between participants or used outside the programme.

Source Transparency

All reading material and references are drawn from publicly available publications. We list the sources used in each session summary so participants can verify or explore them independently.

Scope of Service

Our programmes are educational and organizational. We do not provide legal, financial, or healthcare advice. Where a question falls outside that scope, we note it and suggest the participant consult a qualified specialist.

Accessible Support

Between sessions, participants may send questions by email. Responses are provided within three working days. Enquiries from prospective participants are acknowledged within two working days.

Programme Fees

All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit and include materials, templates, and follow-up where applicable. No add-on charges.
